Where has it gone
My inspiration
Where are they now
The words
It’s like the heart
The soul and spirit
Have been put to rest
Gone into hibernation
Holy Spirit stir my being
From this slumber awaken me
Fill my heart with song
My soul with your love
Infuse my spirit
With your inspiration
Guide my hand
In the writing of the words
May the writings shared
Encourage and inspire
Bring joy and cleansing tears
Healing to mind, heart, and spirit.

Thanks Donna. I just have too many things going on in my brain these days. Trying to get better focused and disciplined as well as other changes in my life. I have been working on the changes for some time now, but I do see improvements. Accomplishing better habits will make my overall life, including the creative parts better.

It’s hard when our inspiration seems to desert us. Sometimes I think we’re being called into the emptiness to be emptied out, and when the inspiration comes again, more of the Holy Spirit will shimmer through. Blessings.

Hi Kathy, thank you for stopping by and dropping a note. Yes, we need to empty ourselves sometimes. Feeling I was empty of inspiration I decided to go back to the beginning where I started this blog and repost whatever seemed appropriate again; and I figured I might have more readers by now who might enjoy them 🙂 Speaking of emptying ourselves, I think I will repost another special one about this tonight. So stop by tonight and you will see what I mean 🙂
Where on Lake Superior do you live? I am originally from Michigan…more southern half. We used to go camping in Ludington when i was a kid.

I live on the southern shore of Lake Superior near L’Anse, which is between Houghton and Marquette. (same as your last name.) But I’m originally from downstate Michigan, too–a little town near Port Huron called Yale. have lived in East Lansing and Big Rapids when going to college, but that was a long time ago. Have been to Ludington!
