WHAT’S NEXT?

Recently as I lay waiting for my nighttime sleep to begin, I felt my current life’s path was about to change. I sensed a new journey was about to begin.

I have had so many paths in my life. There was a mixture of bad and good experiences. The best part of each path has been the wonderful people who came into my life.

Every new path brought many lessons, each making my life better than before.

It is exciting to anticipate what new blessings God has in store for me.

The Light

Candle Light

Oh God, Our Father, You are The Light
which guides us on our path through
this life…when we let you.

Remind me always to surrender all in my
life to your love and care. I am always
your child, and sometimes I forget.
Whenever I see the flame of a candle, the
sunshine, or moonlight…let them remind me
that you will always light my way.

With each path I have chosen, you have placed
others in my life…like stars in the sky…
to help light my way, through you & to you.
Help me to never forget those who come
into my life, even for a short while, for they
are blessings from You.

Let me never forget, God, that we are all
One in You…that everyone in my life is a part
of me, a part of You. I too, am The Light.

Let me not forget that those who have been
lights in my life may also need my Light to shine
for them.

Thank you God for the many blessings in my life, and the joy that has filled me up as I walked out of past struggles with your guidance.

I live to walk the path you want for me, and need to KNOW only your voice, your whispers to guide my every step, every thought, word, and action throughout each day. Keep me on the right path ~ to step confidently over each rock across the river, over any narrow road, any times where I cannot see where I’m going, and guide me to choose the right way in any fork in the path.

Candles In My Life…repost in honor of Smita

Reposting this one, also remembering my friend, Smita. She was a candle in my life.

Oh life of mine… you are the path God has set me upon.

The paths have been crooked, winding, jagged, straight,
narrow and wide, flat and steep.

Some of the paths have been bright and some very dark.

Yet all along the way “He” has gifted me with many to light my way…
family members, many who are also friends, strangers who became friends,
and some souls who passed through this life of mine to guide a step or two,
then went on their way.

The last several years have been the beginning of a brand new life, a brand new path.
I have closed the gates to past issues, and so many new gates have opened along this
new path I have chosen.

My spirit has come alive on this path.
As in the past, new friends have come lighting the way
These friends are the Candles in my Life.

Thank you dear God, for these blessings.

When was the last time you were scared? What happened? What did you learn? Are you still afraid of that situation?

This is today’s WordPress suggested topic and a good one.

Each time a particular source of income may be coming to an end I tend to get scared.
What happened? It either did not end, or another source came into my life.
What I learned is to stop being afraid, to stop thinking about the money.

I just remember that as long as I keep doing my best, walking the path I am meant to follow…my own special road; and most of all trusting in God’s guidance and love, then all is well.

Being human I know we tend to try to be in control of our lives, but it sure is better when we allow God to take over. My energy, inspiration, and motivation all in higher gear.   Joy then just overflows.

It was and is again…

I just found this piece I wrote a few years ago. Amazing to find something which was true in the past and now, years later it is true again.

Believe and trust in God’s truth,
and he will place the truth in my heart.
My trust and hope in God
Will plant me where I need to be,
Where I need to grow,
Where I can show his love and mercy to others…
Where I can use the gifts he has given me.”

Wow! Again the path has been shown to me and I am on my way….
I am so at peace and joyful…

A New Journey…

I am crawling, sometimes walking, and occasionally skipping along a path which seems to be leading me in a new direction. There is an invisible hand guiding me through the trees, across the river by way of stepping-stones to the other shore, and on the path to my destination.

It is strange because this doesn’t seem to be a logical time to take this journey. Yet He is the one guiding me and I know that through Him all things are possible. I have no idea how each thing which needs to happen will be fulfilled, so I just believe. I am excited to see how everything unfolds. For now…

Today has been a good day. I am tired now and it is time to sleep, to rest for tomorrow is another day of the journey.
