Nourishing Crumbs of Life

How many times have you heard that even giving someone a smile, a genuine smile, that it alone can brighten their day.  It does mine, and I hope that my smile can be a little crumb to nourish another’s heart. 

The wee little crumbs
The birds flock to them
They fight for them
Those crumbs are food
They nourish the winged creatures

The crumbs of our lives
A smile
A kind word
A thank you
A compliment
A moment of praise
Brief moments…

Nourishing crumbs of life
Feeding our spirits
Keeping us alive
Until the next one…

November 3 – Gratitude and Nourishment

I am grateful to God for this day, for the rain to nourish the ground, and all growing things; and filling the bodies of water which supplies some of our needs.

I am grateful for the food I am able to buy in order to nourish my body.

I am grateful to all my readers, especially those of you who are my subscribers. I thank you for your encouragement, support, and comments. You feed my spirit, my mind and heart.
