Well, it has been an up and down year for most everyone, including me. I am ever so grateful that the rare downtimes have been brief, and I really have been blessed. It has been a wonderful time of working on personal transitions, hopefully becoming wiser, writing more, and being available to help others.
Now in this last month of 2011 it is time for looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus, for looking back at the joys and blessings of this year; and looking forward to a new year with more blessings and surprises.
Just a little trivia…yesterday I had a wisdom tooth taken out. Hm! Does that reduce what little wisdom I have, or does it make room for more? 🙂
“I am ever so grateful that the rare downtimes have been brief, and I really have been blessed.”
That’s wonderful, Ann.

Thanks Laurie. Hey, I know I have missed a couple days blogging, but you know when we prepare a new post and there is a box over on the lower right side with suggested photos etc. to use? Mine is not there now!!!

In my case, I personally wondered if an idiot should even have wisdom teeth….. surely I should have been born without them…right? I hope you are feeling better and are now back to eating tough and chewy foods and candies…… that soft and liguid diet totally sucks doesn’t it? Enjoy your Sunday! 🙂

Thanks Mark – I wonder why they are called wisdom teeth. I don’t believe they give us any wisdom anyway 🙂 Guess I should Google “wisdom teeth” and find out why the term.
I never thought I would get tired of eating ice cream, and mashed potatoes. I may have overdone that, but I have been concerned about causing any issues by eating and drinking normally too soon. Just now having my first cup of coffee since Friday morning and drinking it only warm. The dentist had said not to drink coffee for a day or two because the acid can cause dry socket.
I couldn’t get to sleep until about 4am, woke at 9:40 am, but still very tired and unable to do anything but stare at the TV for awhile. Now going to turn off everything and sit quietly in prayer and meditation while I have my coffee and become more awake 🙂

I think the removal of wisdom teeth simply opens the mouth’s ability for more chocolate…so that’ can’t be a bad thing, right?
Sorry it was painful. Hope it’s better now.

This one was not nearly as bad as the first one done a few years ago which turned to dry socket…OUCH!
