For some reason the word April conjures up visions of newness, of spring blossoms, awakening from the winter season.
In the last several years I always like to begin something new in my life on the 1st day of April if possible, or within a couple days of it. Sometimes things which begin at other times turn out better. The right timing for the right circumstance can be any time. When trusting God to put things in place for his best for us and in his time it is always better. With all this in mind I eagerly look forward to April 2012 and what surprises and blessings God has in store for me. As I wait, I remember last year’s post on April 1st …

New beginnings and new energy! Not only do the flowers come back to life but I do too. I feel as if I am just awakening from a long nap!
Glad you feel refreshed with new energy Claire
Thanks for stopping by.
So true – things are always fresh, new, and so hopeful in spring. Be adventurous and let us know what you start anew on 4/1! Have a great spring day! ~ Barb
Ah! Barb, I guess I need to post something tonight since it is April 1st now
What a cool tradition — starting something new on April 1st.
Thanks Laurie, glad you like the idea
Love the photo, Ann! Don’t forget that April is National Poetry Month – maybe that’s a good place to start?
Thanks Julie, and I will think about that.
